Supporting the maritime professionals of tomorrow
At OLVEA OMEGA SOLUTIONS, we believe that the future of the maritime sector lies in the women and men who will shape it tomorrow. With this in mind, we are proud to support the team from the Maritime High School Anita Conti in Fécamp, which will take part in the 2026 National Maritime Schools Sailing Trophy, held in Cherbourg from October 12 to 16.
Through this partnership, OLVEA OMEGA SOLUTIONS reaffirms its commitment to supporting the maritime community and maritime education. This approach is a natural extension of our activities, which are closely linked to the sustainable use of marine resources and the development of the blue economy.
A human adventure before a sporting one
The National Maritime Schools Trophy is much more than a sailing competition. Every year, the event brings together students from across France around shared values: teamwork, mutual support, respect for the marine environment and a taste for challenge.
For the 2026 edition, the Maritime High School Anita Conti will be represented by a team of seven students, selected and trained in partnership with the Club de Voile de Fécamp, including one young referee. Together, they will compete in regattas aboard J80 sailboats, demanding boats that require coordination, precision and a strong team spirit.
Throughout the competition, the young sailors will need to demonstrate responsiveness, cohesion and determination. These qualities are essential on the water, but also in the many maritime professions they are preparing to enter.
Showcasing Fécamp and French maritime education
Taking part in this national event is a fantastic opportunity for the students to represent their school, as well as Fécamp, a town historically shaped by the sea and renowned for its maritime expertise.
Over several days, participants will share their experiences with other young people from maritime schools across France. These encounters encourage the exchange of experiences, open up new professional horizons and provide an opportunity to discover the wide range of career paths offered by the maritime sector.
Beyond the sporting results, the Trophy also helps strengthen connections between the future professionals who will shape the maritime sector in the years ahead.
