In response to the ever-changing needs of the market, we have strategically developed our own facilities units in Agadir (Morocco), Nouadhibou (Mauritania) and Normandy (France). We have an integrated value chain thanks to our dedicated tank farms and refining unit.
OLVEA has set up its own state-of-the-art refining units. Our omega fish oils are processed and refined in our eco-refining plant, OLVEA Green Technologies (France), or in OLVEA Atlantic (Morocco).
All these units allow us to ensure oils with a premium and controlled quality.
Fécamp’s harborA historical presence
Since 1929, our journey began in Fécamp, a town rich in maritime heritage, where we first provided quality cod liver oil. Over the decades, our historic site has evolved into a key hub for storing and managing our oils.
This strategic location allows us to preserve the quality of our products while maintaining an efficient and reliable supply chain. From sourcing to processing, we’ve continually refined our approach, treating every product with one goal in mind: to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.
OLVEA Green TechnologiesAn eco-refining unit
Created in 2018, OLVEA Green Technologies stands as one of the first eco-designed refining units in Europe, prioritizing the lowest environmental impact.
Our plant allows us to purify oils while complying with strict Food Defense standards and a robust health risk management system.
OLVEA AtlanticA pioneering refining unit (Morocco)
Set up in Morocco in 2005, our plant positions us as pioneers in direct sourcing, meticulous supplier analysis, and expert processing of Atlantic Omega-3 oils.
With two decades of expertise, we continue to lead the industry, setting new standards of excellence in sourcing and refining practices.
OLVEA MauritaniaA pivotal addition to our operations
Established in 2012, OLVEA’s Omega-3 oils sourcing and storage facility in Mauritania significantly bolsters our supply chain capabilities. OLVEA Mauritania allows us to efficiently source and store high-quality oils, ensuring a steady and reliable stream of raw materials for our customers.
