Who we are
OLVEA Omega Solutions is a subsidiary of the French family-owned OLVEA Group, founded in 1929 in Normandy (France).
Our story began with cod liver oil sourced from Newfoundland’s rich fishing grounds. Over the years, we have developed our approach to omega oils, from sourcing to refining, to meet the changing needs of our customers. Built on expertise and a profound respect for both People and Nature, we offer premium ingredients that enhance overall health and well-being, solidifying our position as a leading supplier of omega oils.
Today, the OLVEA Group provides omega oils as well as specialty vegetable oils for nutrition and cosmetics industries. It employs more than 300 people of 15 different nationalities and sells more than 65,000 tons of oils sold per year.
Our vertical integration strategy approach includes production facilities in Africa and a French ecorefining plant, ensuring traceability, regularity of our products’ supply, and full compliance with the highest standards and certifications.
